Warrior / Resto Druid
Relentless melee pressure backed by the most mobile, hardest-to-CC healer in the game. Mortal Strike halves enemy healing while the Druid outlasts every control attempt with shapeshifting.
Specs
- Arms Warrior Melee DPS
- Restoration Druid Healer
Game plan
Train one target with Mortal Strike and Hamstring, let rage build off incoming damage, and force the enemy healer to overextend. The Druid kites with travel form, powershifts snares and roots melee that tries to peel, winning the attrition war.
Why it works: synergy
- Mortal Strike plus continuous Rend and Deep Wounds pressure means the enemy healer can never stop casting.
- Shapeshifting removes Polymorph, roots and snares, which deletes half the CC toolkit of most opponents.
- Feral Charge and Bash from the healer add interrupts and stuns a Warrior comp otherwise lacks.
- Innervate makes the Druid nearly impossible to drain in long games.
Counters
Fear chains own the Warrior, DoTs punish the Druid's shifting, and the Shaman purges Druid HoTs cheaply.
Double fear plus Mana Burn attacks the Druid's mana, the one resource this comp cannot protect.
Dangers: how this comp loses
- The Warrior is a fear and kite magnet with limited answers once Berserker Rage is down.
- Purge and dispel comps strip HoTs faster than the Druid can reapply them efficiently.
- If the Warrior cannot connect, the comp generates zero pressure; frost kiting is a real problem.
What Forever changes
- Revamped racials may hand the Warrior an extra fear break, the single biggest swing factor for this comp.
- Bonus healing granting spell damage (confirmed from footage) gives Resto Druids real Moonfire and Wrath chip damage in long games.
