Warrior / Rogue / Hunter / Shaman / Priest
Armor-ignoring pressure from three physical damage sources plus a Viper Sting mana tax. Loud, fast and dangerous, but light on crowd control and heavily dependent on winning the damage race.
Specs
- Arms Warrior Melee DPS
- Combat Rogue Melee DPS
- Marksmanship Hunter Ranged DPS
- Restoration Shaman Healer
- Discipline Priest Healer
Game plan
All three damage dealers converge on one target while Viper Sting rides the enemy healer with the least dispel support. Scatter Shot, Kidney Shot and Intercept give just enough control to finish windows. Tremor and shields hold the backline together long enough to win the race.
Why it works: synergy
- Three physical damage sources make armor and school-based defenses irrelevant.
- Viper Sting plus Mana Burn runs a two-pronged mana attack alongside the health race.
- Kidney Shot, Scatter Shot and Intercept chain into workable kill windows without a Mage.
- Tremor Totem protects a fear-vulnerable core from warlock teams.
Counters
Superior control and dispels dismantle a comp that has to race.
The opener script removes two physical damage dealers before the race even starts.
Dangers: how this comp loses
- Light CC means the enemy backline plays free all game.
- Fear-vulnerable core with only Tremor as an answer.
- If the damage race stalls, there is no long-game plan to fall back on.
What Forever changes
- Human Hunter and Dwarf Shaman (confirmed combos) modernize the racial options for this archetype.
- Merged hit and crit is a straight consistency buff to all three physical damage slots.
