Warrior / Mage / Druid
Pressure from the Warrior, control from the Mage, and a healer who cannot be locked out of the game. WMD converts constant Mortal Strike pressure into kills whenever Polymorph finds the enemy healer.
Specs
- Arms Warrior Melee DPS
- Frost Mage Caster DPS
- Restoration Druid Healer
Game plan
The Warrior trains whatever he can reach while the Mage controls the most dangerous enemy. Kill windows open when Polymorph or a deep Frost Nova catches the healer with the Warrior at full rage. The Druid kites everything sent at him.
Why it works: synergy
- Mortal Strike pressure forces enemy healers into predictable cast rhythms that Polymorph punishes.
- Frost slows plus Hamstring means no one escapes the Warrior once caught.
- The Druid's shapeshifting immunity to Polymorph makes mirror control games one-sided.
- Innervate can feed the Mage in long games, an option pure Mage comps never have.
Counters
The full CC script lands on WMD's Mage and Warrior cleanly, and the Druid cannot peel three chained stuns.
Fear chains on the Warrior plus DoT rot beat the comp's medium-speed pressure.
Dangers: how this comp loses
- The Warrior soaks every fear and stun in the enemy toolkit with few answers.
- Kill windows depend on landing Polymorph against increasingly poly-aware healers.
- Weak opener: WMD loses many games in the first fifteen seconds against script comps.
What Forever changes
- Orc Mage stun resistance (confirmed combo) covers the comp's most-punished setup member.
- Merged hit and crit favors Mortal Strike consistency in early gear.
